It can be the Oasis comeback,it's the first single of their forthcoming album "Dig Out Your Soul". "Love is a time machine, Up on the silver screen It's all in my mind"
If you're looking for the second "Silent Alarm",then you're probably into the wrong band. Those guys are continuously evolving, they don't intend to write another exact same album so that most of us would love it.By this way they do care to save and unfold music and open up our minds as well.Using synths combined with cool indie guitar riffs is a great thing in their case. The album's opening couldn't be better.Russel Lissack is the man that knows how to fill up a song with the proper effects and riffs, his talent and devotion are beyond our reach.Intimacy finds Bloc Party at the top of their inspiration status and kinda heartbroken lyrically. The result is 10 great tracks that don't stick to formulas, varying from electronic rhythm tracks [Ares,Mercury,Halo,Trojan Horse,One Month Off] to slow melancholic tracks[Biko,Signs]."You get sadder the smarter you get and it's a bore",Kele Okereke is always singing about something that really concerns him and in Intimacy you can clearly understand it reading the lyrics. Those lyrics couldn't fit anywhere better than where Kele put them and created unique songs[Zepherus,Better Than Heaven,Ion Square]which appear to be the album's 3 last tracks. It's not Silent Alarm,it's not A Weekend In The City. Each album has its own structure and feeling and they cannot be compared. No need to gain back their Silent Alarm fans when those guys save music by giving us something new, something great. It's Intimacy, and one listen isn't enough to love it.

Tracks To Pick:All of them,no need to ask,10 tracks,10 ways to feel different.
One of the best electro bands in the world right now Kate Moross is responsible for the heart shaped EP these new york based guys release their stuff in the indie label named IHEARTCOMIX! here is their first EP plus their best song, C.Y.O.A.(choose your own adventure) are you ready? choose your own heartsrevolution DOWNLOAD LINK
It definitely isn't a copy of their first album, entitled as "Wait For Me".But not anything that's gonna save today's music either. It's like picking the album's 4 best tracks, and there's no need to listen more of it.No way you can sit and listen to the whole album at once.I tried, but i couldn't wait for the time to tune in to another song. They're all very similar,if you take out "Nothing To Do With You",which is nothing more than a cheap ballad.Still, there are some good tracks that can hit this year's charts, just like they did last year. But it's not the point,is it? Tracks To Pick:This is an emergency,Keep on your dress,Making up numbers
We've been rehearsing a lot,not so much time anyway. Many many albums, but what of it all is worth listening?Well,Cazals,it's probably about the worst album of the year.At least that's what i think.Actually it's not offering you more than any other mediorce indie rock album like the new Fratellis album. It's the same guitars, same lyrics, same everything,at the point that you conclude that someone they know[maybe the singer's mum]has given them away a Kitsune sign.If you really want to listen to other songs, then the one that you "can" give a listen to,without getting yourself killed,is Poor Innocent Boys."What Of Our Future",well, who said anything about your future? What a shame i was so delighted at first, couldn't wait to listen to Kitsune's new sign, here's the excuse, watch the video.
it sounds like tv on the radio writing electro music at first i thought "what the fuck is this ? where are the gang of four guitars?" the answer is simple: they don't use guitars anymore or at least not like they used to these guys are talented and they don't need indie rock tracks to prove it (once again)
The Strokes are preparing their new album and Albert is releasing his second one.God knows what's next.Anyway, the result of Como Te Llama isn't as good as i expected.Compared to his first album,it's nothing. But still there are some good tracks in it,worth listening.Hope it's not the end of everything. And it won't be. The album's beginning is rather interesting. In My Room, number 2 on the tracklist,is a great song. But the whole listening isn't anything special.Getting to Rocket, number 6,i'm starting to think it again. But once again, the next tracks don't surprise me.On the whole, there are 5 tracks in the album that can stand a chance, but cannot be compared to his first album though.
It's been almost a month since their album came out,[on May 5 it was],by Atlantic Records, called "Music For An Accelerated Culture".Hadouken have the coolest lyrics and one of the most stylish singing i've heard in 2008 so far. They previously were working on some great remixes on Bloc Party and Klaxons, and i say the final result was even better than the original songs. You can download some of their remixes at the end of this review,as well as 2 songs from the album.Listening to this album,i got really happy as i didn't notice any bad songs.Every track in it,has its style, its theme, its feeling.Cool fast lyrics describing everyday actions and entertainment, about parties, cool kids in gigs, drinking, and even myspace and msn[in Crank It Up].Fantastic synths and basslines, probably this record is DIOYY's follow-up.It's faster, with great catchy lyrics, and yeh,it's worth listening.

Here you can download some of their songs,as mentioned above. There is a folder that explains the songs info as well.
They're called HeartsRevolution and they come from New York. They are Ben and Leyla and they're the new talk of the town.I say in fact, they're probably better than Crystal Castles. If you were attending an event in La or Ny and afterwards saw a pink ice cream truck with unicorns painted on it,there they were. This truck is called HeartsChallenger, selling ice cream, candy, toys but even mixtapes,t-shirts,graffiti prints, plus button packs.Coool!Among those "products" was their first release,C.Y.O.A.[Choose Your Own Adventure],which is limited to 500 heart-shaped vinyl. They're about to release a dual-ep with CC.The whole hype-movement with the HeartsChallenger[that is their truck, remember?]is really clever and catchy, and they're planning a world tour with it,starting from La and Ny,to Austin and Miami, and after that,London,Paris and Tokyo!Wow!So you'll be aware next time! That's the DIY spirit! Here's their CYOA video
Here you can download one of their songs,by their SwitchBlade ep. I'd say they're one of the best tunes i heard lately.Enjoy!
