The Flaming Lips - Embryonic


when you're a genius,there's no way you won't do something right
these guys,with decades of experience with the band,haven't lost it yet
this time they tried the psychedelia concept
i don't know how much time it took it for them,or what on earth they were thinking,but "Embryonic" is a masterpiece that will be remembered.
a double record,a real trip from the very first track to the last one,it makes you feel whatever it wants.
it wants you frightened,it's got you frightened
it wants you down,it's got you down
it wants you thinking,it's got you thinking.
as simple as that

as all great records are depending on the producer's role,it's Dave Fridmann that created this album as well.
without this production,"Embryonic" would lack on many things.

a masterpiece,i repeat,a masterpiece

what an album it is,catches you from the very beginning,transfers you to wherever you want to be,and ends with its best song,"Watching The Planets".
psychedelia at its very best,those guys have proven us that they can do anything with their talent.
there came a great album with a great artwork.
they called it "Embryonic".
and here comes its first official video,feat. Karen O on back vocals(or shall i say animal immitations?)
