Rain Machine

as you all understood from the picture above, this is about Kyp Malone's side project, guitarist and back vocalist of Tv On The Radio
it is called Rain Machine
as he said about his project,“A nearly full spectrum of frequencies audible to the human ear— a reflection of a variety of emotions and situations real and imagined, some rhythm and some rhyme.”
i've listened to 2 songs so far, which you can download below,"Give Blood" is amazing,it's like listening to tv on the radio's new track

The Bloody Beetroots - Romborama REVIEW

to be honest,i was totally into Warp 1.9,which was said to be the death of electro, and we played it on our dj sets.
Romborama though can be a little repeatitive, consisting of 21 tracks.
the surprise is the track that features The Cool Kids, called "Awesome",i'm loving it.
but as a whole,i was not so excited listening to Romborama,i'd say i got a little tired.
+that they have an excellent album cover.

Arctic Monkeys - Humbug REVIEW

i'm 100% sure that a lot of people will get a little confused about Humbug, same thing that happened with Bloc Party's Intimacy.
Josh Homme is on the production role, doing a great work
and Arctic Monkeys are the ones that put their sound to another level.
at first i thought that this is about QOTSA's new album played by Arctic Monkeys combined with something from The Last Shadow Puppets.
it took me about 5 listens to get used to the idea.
in the end i loved it,many hours of hard work are required to build such song structures.
what do you think?

Simian Mobile Disco's new album is gonna be called "Temporary Pleasures" and it's out on August 17th.
Consisting of ten tracks, there are gonna be many vocal featurings, such as Jamie Lidell,Beth Diddo,Telepathe and more, whilst only 3 tracks are gonna be instrumental.

Jonnie Wilkes(from the excellent dj duo Optimo) and James Savage have joined their abilities and formed a production pairing known as Naum Gabo. They did a rework on Simian Mobile Disco's new single which features Hot Chip's Alexis Taylor and it's a dancefloor smash up.
Shall we wait to listen to the original version?
We could do so,but that will surely do for now.
