here they are again,Erol Alkan & Boys Noize,after their victorious single "Waves/Death Suite"
this one is "Avalanche/Lemonade",we listened to the previews and they're fantastic
sound a lot like Boys Noize last album "Power",which is a really great work
we don't know anything about the release date yet,but we'll find out soon

MIXTAPE:: Simian Mobile Disco

a few days ago,on 8/1/2010,Simian Mobile Disco were on the BBC Radio 1 and they did the first Essential Mix for 2010
2 hours full of acid house,minimal techno,electro and some dubstep tracks
it appears that they are the masters of djing as well
you won't find fast mixes and mashups here
they prefer to "dj on two turntables"
and somehow you can't tell when they spin a new track
their mix also contains new Simian Mobile Disco tracks
you will find them on 45:00 and on 83:00

this is our new blog-category and we named it "AudioCloset".
it is about the stuff you send us,which we will post regularly.
due to the fact that we don't have plenty of time,throughout the week we spend many hours working on stuff with our band,we can't check out all the stuff that we receive.
but sooner or later,we come up and listen to almost everything,we don't ignore not a single email from you.

now,we got sent this mix from the electro duo called "Hey Today!",and we're really digging it.
last summer their acclaimed release "Walk Through" was on Kitsune.
this mix is about 1 hour of electro bangers,featuring the likes of Boys Noize, Late of the Pier and Digitalism.
some really nice changes,loops,it sure is a professional mix
plus that i have to say that it can be up-to-date,good work.
