Το τέταρτο κατά σειρά album τους κυκλοφόρησαν αισίως, οι Kings of Leon. Η νέα τους δουλειά τιτλοφορείται ‘’Only by the Night’’ και δε θυμίζει σε τίποτα τις προηγούμενες δουλειές του συγκροτήματος, κάτι το οποίο δεν αποτελεί έκπληξη καθώς σε κάθε του δισκογραφική απόπειρα, το συγκρότημα από το Tennessee, εξερευνά νέα μουσικά μονοπάτια.
Έντονα συναισθηματικό και ταυτόχρονα μελωδικό το ‘’Only by the Night’’ παρουσιάζει μια πλευρά των Kings που δεν γνωρίζαμε έως σήμερα. Εμφανίζονται λοιπόν, πιο ολοκληρωμένοι (μουσικά) από ποτέ ,έχοντας καταφέρει να δημιουργήσουν ένα άρτια ισορροπημένο νέο album. Δυνατό σε μερικά σημεία του και κάπως υποτονικό σε άλλα μαγεύει τον ακροατή ο οποίος εύκολα μπορεί να μαγνητιστεί από την όλη ενορχήστρωση και από τα υπέροχα φωνητικά του τραγουδιστή, Caleb.
Είναι μια δουλειά ικανή να δώσει στους Kings of Leon αυτό που πραγματικά αξίζουν, την επιτυχία και αναγνώριση.

on one hand the glasvegas album is so jesus and mary chain..but on the other is that so bad??
