So! Is Tropical is one of those bands that from the moment you finish listening to their first Myspace track, you know you 've found that "thing" that's gonna keep you stuck with them for at least the rest of your day. Is Tropical is a London 3-piece that sound exactly how The Strokes would if they gave up on their stupid-hard-rock-Thin Lizzy routes(at least that's what they said about their new album..) and listened to The Postal Service instead!
What's interesting about IT though, is that they formed just a year ago and they 've already managed to get into Artrocker and..the enemy which is NME. Plus, they 'll be performing at Manchester's most interesting festival for new bands, "In The City". That's it then! Fuck The Strokes, Is Tropical is the "shit" nowadays (No, scratch that..The Strokes are bound to be the shit forever..)!
