Gold Teeth

Their quite bouncy, they produce afrobeat indie-pop sound and also have a unique name! They are called Gold Teeth, they come from west London and sound like Vampire Weekend but with a more synthy twist. As the band claimed in an interview for the NME: "With the credit crunch people are looking for something to keep their spirits up. Afrobeat, with joyous drumming and rhythm, is gonna get people boogeieing". Check out, the bands video clip for their debut single "Everybody". I hope you like it!

Arctic Monkeys - You Know I 'm No Good (Amy Winehouse cover)

Dont ask us anything about how the hell did that happen or when or why...We just saw it in another and we thought it would be a good idea to steal a bit of their glory...This is good! Its sounds exactly how " You Know..." would be if it was an Arctic Monkey track instead for Amy's...

Track Of The Day #46 is Artefacts For Space Travel - Power Of The Brain

Alright! So, who feels likes rocking out today?? Broken Beats certainly do!Artefacts.. are 3 guys from London that make toxic punk/lo-fi psych rock/ anti - pop music.. Thats just what others think of their music, here in the Broken Beats office ( thats a joke..)  we just like to call their music " fucking good stuff "..

Track of the day , "Power Of The Brain" , is definitely one of their best tracks  and thats of course the reason that we have it as our track of the day, but(!) that doesnt mean that its just this track and that everything else from them sucks..No! Their track " Recoop" would probably  be track of the day #47 if it wasnt for all this other great music we 've been listening to lately..So!Stop reading this shitty article for Artefacts For Space Travel and go check them out! Immediately!
P.S: They 're signed to Stolen Recordings..Enough said..

The Horrors - Primary Colours ( New Album )

don't get me wrong but i really didn't expect this to happen
after a good debut influenced by garage and post punk bands the horrors come back with a near masterpiece album influenced mainly by shoegaze bands
i really didn't see that coming and i suppose you will be surprised as well
i hope in a good way
you can't find any Count In Fives here
no
but you won't need to do it
primary colours can be described as shoegaze meets post punk and dark wave

this is the Horrors after 2 years using their instruments in a totally different way
this is Farris singing in a totally different way

Geoff Barrow (Portishead) produced the album and he's done a great job

this is gonna top even the lists of the music snobs

the members of BloodOnOurShoes rarely rate an album but this time i'm so excited that i'm gonna give this shit nite out of ten and please allow me to declare this as a modern classic

TIGA new album,"Ciao"

After he hit the dancefloor for good with "Mind Dimension",it's time for his second album,"Ciao".
Coming out at the end of April,he has collaborated with Soulwax and James Murphy,as well as Gonzales.
Techno with amazing basslines at its peak, the album will also rely on lyrical content.

Track Of The Day #45 Of Montreal - Ever Fallen In Love (The Buzzcocks Cover)

Kevin Barnes really loves covers
from nirvana to M.I.A.
from the beatles to gnarls barkley
what matters is that what he does has its own of montreal character
that's what makes him special
that's what makes this cover special

The Killers Cover Bright Eyes' "Four Winds"

are they humans or are they suckers?
you've got to let me know

someone must stop them
enough with these indie rock bands trying to become anything near 80s synth pop or whatever
