Track Of The Day #24 is... Depeche Mode - Wrong (NEW SINGLE)

that's what depeche mode do
they can fuck your soul with a brilliant single
and then release a stupid album like their previous album
let's hope that the new album is a masterpiece just like this track
let's go back to the good old days
amazing sounds amazing vocals amazing beat amazing track

Track Of The Day #23 is... The Maccabees - No Kind Words

Great surpise comeback from one of the few great indie rock bands out there
I love the fact that they got their sound a bit like the national
not that they became too miserable but the whole feeling of the song is like the national spent some time with the maccabees in the studio
anyway, it's a great fucking song
i will be happy if their album is such good

Yeah Yeah Yeahs - It's Blitz!

when i first heard the leaked version of "zero" i was deeply dissapointed
maybe it was the shitty quality, maybe i wasn't prepared for the dance version of yeah yeah yeahs
but
i gave the album five good listens and yeh now i'm convinced that this shit is good
actually it's pretty good, i don't know if it is better than the previous albums but you know these things take time
you have the link, you have the time
there are many great songs there

Shrag!

So its saturday afternoon and you 're still looking for the perfect soundtrack of the day..Well, here 's a suggestion for you.
Their name is Shrag and they hail from Brighton,UK. Their music sounds a lot like Love Is All (without the saxophone madness of course..) but a little a bit less punked up..If you 're still not aware of the brilliance of Love Is All, another band/genre that you could say they 're very similar to is the whole riot girrrl thing(except for that whole attitude those bands had) ...
They 've got a lot of slow songs too, something that would probably suck under any other circumstances but in this case is just impossible not to like!

Track Of The Day #21 is The Cheek - You Let Me Go

This has been around for a long time now but since these guys decided to change their name( ex-Cheeky Cheeky And The Nosebleeds ) its like introducing a new band now.To tell the truth " The Cheek" is a lot better from that other name..It was getting really boring having to say that everytime.. " You Let Me Go " was easily one of the best singles that were released in 2k8 so if you  still havent heard about them, here 's your chance! "I Have Grown Quite Fond Of You" sounds really promising too!

MAY68

What's wrong with all these bands turning 80's style these days?
May 68 are from Manchester and they sound a lot like 80's synth/poppy/ridiculous music which is totally impossible not to dance to..You dont even want to move your head up and down with this, you just dance!
They 've only been a band since last June(at least thats what their Myspace page indicates) and they have already been called to perform for the " Same Teens " stage in Kendal Calling.
Check them out!Watch out not to hurt yourself while stupid-dancing around your room!

Track Of The Day #19 is Friendly Fires - Skeleton Boy(Air France remix)

I found this 10 minutes ago and its already Track Of The Day!Its a lot more laid-back than the original which makes it totally perfect to listen to when you just want to relax and listen to "easy"
music..I have to say that i thought that Air France sucked, but this is good!I think i like it even more than the original..

You Love Her Coz She's Dead

You love Her Coz She's Dead, are an incredible new elctro-punk band. Their main characteristic is that they write songs about superheroes and their sound is very similar to Crystal Castles.

Kitsuné (which currently the bands record lebel), invited them in early 2008, to be part of their notable mix cd compilations.
The bands has released a debut EP entitled "Inner City Angst" on Kitsuné.
You should definitely check out the song "Superheroes", because it's awesome!!!

Simian Mobile Disco - Synthesise [new track & video]

The English electro duo is back again, writing their new album due to come out in 2009.
Their new track,Synthesise, followed by a great video,is exactly how they should evolve their sound.
The video was directed by Kate Moross, who has also been designing merchandise for Simian Mobile Disco and other bands/labels.She is also the graphic designer for HeartsRevolution.
Fantastic beat synchronization.

Fever Ray

Her name is Karin Dreijer Andersson and she's the first half of The Knife. We learned this project "Fever Ray" from her first single If I Had A Heart which came out on last December. When I Grow Up is her second single off her debut album coming out on March 18th 2009 by Rabid Records in Sweden. Her music explores even more paths than what she did with The Knife. This time the arty direction of the project is even more visible with these two amazing videos. They are like two nightmares on the same night. The video for ‘If I Had A Heart’ was directed by Andreas Nilsson. The future is yours Karin.

Track Of The Day #17 is Bear Hands - Long Lean Queen (Rac Maury remix)

Long Lean Queen(Rac remix) is probably the best thing you will ever hear from Bear Hands. Some of their other tracks are good too , especially "Cant Stick 'Em" but "Long Lean Queen (remix) is just my favourite track of them. Also, I think they dont have it anymore on their Myspace profile so if you 've been looking for it you can get it here!

TEETH!!!

TEETH!!! are Veronica SO, Ximon Tayki and Simon. They are from the UK and they make fucked up-but-weirdly-amazing music!
The tracks on their myspace player is l00% lo-fi, live electronic/rock/punk (imagine something between Erase Errata, Crystal Castles and No Age) that at first makes them a bit irritating to listen to but who gives a fuck..BrokenBeats are declaring their favourite band for at least today..And tomorrow!
TEETH!!! gooooooood!

Track Of The Day #16 is Dirty Summer - War Is Bad Bono Is Great!

They are dirty summer and they are the shit!
They say they are from Dunfermline, UK (where the fuck is that??)..
They are three, 2 boys, 1 girl..
Their music is a mix of fucked up keybords, some punked up rhythms and a lot of distortion..
They have a song called " War Is Bad Bono Is Great" which awesome!Even if it sucked which surely does not(!) it would definitely be a "Track Of The Day"!

Fan Death

The future-disco Canadian duo,Fan Death, are preparing an album on Erol Alkan's label,Phantasy Sounds.
They attracted Alkan's attention with their song,"Veronica's Veil",which he released immediately and remixed it.
Old string sounds and orchestrical riffs, combined with a great electronic bassline and Siouxsie-like vocals.
And an unpredictable remix by Erol Alkan, where he starts instrumental and in the middle of the track he puts the vocals in.

Track Of The Day #14 is Wave Machines - I Go I Go I Go

So yeah this might be one of the worst periods in the whole year with all this studying and shit..
Here is some music to cheer you up!
Wave Machines are from Liverpool and they 're just the party band everyone is in need these days..
They sound a lot like MGMT, Foals and Metronomy but that's just BrokenBeats's point of view.
"I Go I Go I Go" and "TheGreatestEscapeWeEverMade" were both Tracks Of The Day but if i had to choose one i would probably go with the first one..

p.s I really like their songs but i 'm not sure if they will ever get a career in Rock 'n Roll. They 're too ugly! :P

Rusko's label mate and friend, they took dubstep to the next level.
The whole thing speaks for itself, feels like something truly fresh.
And,believe me,you don't wanna miss it.
He has remixed Rusko's anthem,"Cockney Thug",and TC's "Where's My Money".
His new tune"The Takeover(feat Dynamite MC)",is amazing and his album is ready.
