Alright!Their name is Little Pictures, they 're from New Zealand and they 're probably friends with Bang Bang Eche(another "New Zealand" band which is "utterly thriling"!)

Little Pictures is a boy/girl duo that use their synths and some samplings to make easy/poppy indie music, in an "Architecture In Helsinki(except for the orchestral parts of course..)" kind of way.
Anyway, check them out and decide for your self!BrokenBeats think they 're really good...

Mr. Scruff

Mr. Scruff is a british DJ, and electronic musician. He is from a town near Manchester, and studied arts at the Sheffield College of Art. His name, Scruff, was inspired by his

trademark loose-lined drawing style. He started DJing in Manchester, in 1994. He is known for his marathon DJ sets (often last around six hours) and his self-produced visuals and animations that are projected during his live performances. Mr. Scruff's music can be tagged as electronic or trip hop....

Mr. Scruff will be DJing @ BIOS Athens on February 13th. Don't miss him!!! He is amazing!!

Track Of The Day #2 is... Favours For Sailors- Hanging From Your Christmas Tree

So, ok Christmas is over but who can say no to some festive pop brilliance?BrokenBeats cant, thats for sure..
"Hanging From Your Christmas Tree" is just one of those tracks that were made to stuck inside your mind, forcing you to start movinng your head up and down immediately after the first 20 seconds of the song.
Favours For Sailors is probably just another "soon to disappear" band from the UK but who really cares as long as they make you sing and dance and shout....
They 're ok really..They 'll probably get an NME review in 2010!

Well, there is nothing really exciting to say about Post War Years except that they completely duplicate Foals and mostly their track "Olympic Airways". Yeap, that's what they do and for that reason you should all go check out their track " Whole World On Its Head" which is nice!You 'll probably recognise all those Foals's elements i just mentioned but dont worry..Its not so bad..Its like a Foals track to go to sleep to...

Review-> Mary And The Boy/Felizol - TimeMachine

One of the early 2009 albums that really struck me with the first listen.
After their weird dark first self-titled record,Timemachine finds them with electronic sounds and synths,along with their pianos and dark vocals,and the result is a special record.
A record coming straight from the underground scene,the city night soundtrack,it hides a deep talent which you could sense even from their early demos.
Including 4 tracks from their first album in different versions,"i was able to begin again","cock","mama" and the terrifying "death",they turned a little electronic,which fits them perfectly.
Felizol has done an excellent work on the album,the instrumental tracks are simply awesome.
And the ending couldn't be better.A melancholic piano song that gives an unbelievable feeling watching it live.

A record that won't be easy to forget,not after what you feel listening to it.

Oh yes, they are fresh!They say they make "music for queer's" but if you ask me i would say that they made my day with one of their tracks "Chess".
Coming off like another Kabeedies but a little more faster and a bit more harder, "Chess" is one of those tracks that you just come accross while pretending that you 're studying and that just keeps you stuck on your pc until " You cant help it anymore" and start dancing around in yor room!
"Samwise" is ok too but not as funny as "Chess"..

White Lies!!

White Lies are a post-punk London based band, formed from the ashes of A Fear of Flying. Under the new name and only in a few months, the band managed to play numerous Uk music festivals, release three singles and also a debut, titled "To Lose my Life..." on 19 January 2009, which went straight at number one in the Uk album chart. Their sound is described as dark indie-rock and can be compared to Editors, Joy Division and Interpol. White Lies songs are quite gloomy and deal with all kinds of fear such as insecurity, death and lost love. In my opinion, they have all the requirements needed, in order to become the next big-thing, in the music scene. You must definitely check out the Crystal Castles remix of their song, called "Death".
